I have an addiction problem – genealogy and computers, please help!!
This site has been made to assist my research into my family history and hopefully people tracing similar lines will happen upon this site and we can share information. The genealogy community is very friendly and helpful bunch so even if looks like you are not related still ask the question and I might be able to put you in contact with someone researching your branch or family. Networking is the key to my research and I have found a great deal of my information through my contacts. A simple push in the right direction and the right contacts can save you a lot of hard work barking up the wrong tree. Just ask (contact me) or use links at the bottom of the page to search surnames.
With help from family members, online resources and online contacts we have traced a great deal of information on some branches - Archdall / Archdale, Barron, Downey / Doona, Sallaway, Herron and Nicol. Be aware that all information at this stage still being checked against resources etc., but I am fairly confident that I have not made to many typos. I am in the process of updating to new software and inputting all sources against individuals and it will be a long drawn out process so if you see any errors please let me know.
I am still researching and therefore always wanting more information. Any comments, suggestions or criticisms are appreciated. Contact me.
