I originally made this website to aid my research into my family tree. Hopefully people tracing some of the same surnames will happen upon this site and we can share information, I am in contact with a lot of people regarding genealogy and not always from the same family so even if we are not related, I might be able to point you in the right direction – just ask. I first bought this domain in April 2010 but because of time restraints and working away from home a lot I let it go in 2013. I resurrected the same domain again early in 2021 and I am planning to keep it running this time.

Hopefully this website is of interest to people and will assist them in finding and viewing information. It will have some interesting information, pictures and links to other sites where further information can be sought. Also somewhere to acquire contacts for others that are researching the same families.

I have had my tree on Ancestry.com since November 2007 and have continued to build on it. This tree focuses on my family, but it does delve into a lot of offshoots from my paternal and maternal lines. I have recently submitted my DNA sample so hopefully we should get some more information or at least some confirmations coming from this.

A recent addition to my online trees, this tree follows the Rasmussen family from Townsville, Jorgen Rasmussen immigrated from Denmark to Townsville, Australia and started a dairy farm in a suburb now named after this family.
