Melvyn Carlisle Taylor contracted the disease TB and jumped off one of the bridges (possibly the Storey Bridge) over the Brisbane River sometime in the 1950's I believe. It is also believed that Melvyn Carlisle Taylor eloped with Claude Montague Ta ylor's first wife Monica Kelley and together they had a daughter Pamela but at this stage it is only speculation that Melvyn is the father.
